Jenny Lewis Releases Heartbreaker "The Voyager"

I'm very lucky that my job entails spending most of the day looking for feel-good new music to send to the masses. During my daily search yesterday, I came across Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis' new single "The Voyager" from off her forthcoming album of the same name and was absolutely blown away.  Although it's not necessarily what I would broadcast to people young and old as the upbeat new summer jam, I would safely recommend it as one of the most soothing, classic-sounding singles this leading lady has ever released.

While her first single, "Just One of the Guys," had the helping hand of Beck - this ditty (and the rest of the album) is co-produced by my main man Ryan Adams,  and deals with deeper subjects like the death of her estranged father. Battling themes ranging from insomnia to questions of the afterlife, Lewis' sweet croon has never sounded more pristine with the help of a little acoustic guitar, strings and charming xylophone embellishment.
