New Rihanna: "Bitch Better Have My Money"

Yesterday, Rihanna's Instagram hinted that the megastar might be dropping her new record today, titled "Bitch Better Have My Money." Sure enough, it's here and streaming as the second single (following the glorious 'FourFiveSeconds') off her much-anticipated, Kanye West-produced follow-up to 2012's Unapologetic. The so-far-untitled new release will be her eighth album.

Have a listen to #BBHMM below.

  1. i recently read that with this album rihanna "wanted to focus on “things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever, that I could perform in 15 years.” because as it turns out, she's embarrassed about some of her older songs now: “I find that when I get on stage now, I don’t want to perform a lot of my songs because they don’t feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless.”

somehow, i dont think bitch better have my money is to be a timeless piece of artistic expression
but fact, bitch does have our money ...

    1. Really interesting and good point, AK! Apparently, she was trying to exude confidence and assertiveness on this track, but totally agree - it's not nearly as timeless or genius a direction as I thought she was going with "FourFiveSeconds." xo
